PHRINT PEOPLE:
...............................................................................................................
Phrint uses the power of the Internet to bring together a diverse group of talented individuals from many countries. Because no one person can do all things better than everyone else, phrint believes in the virtue of the network effect.
The Network Effect has typically been used to describe how the value of a computer network grows as the connection of people and resources grows. The reason the Internet became (and still is) the fastest growing media in the world was largely a result of this phenomenon. The value of email was relatively low when people only knew one person with an account but now that virtually everyone uses it means that the very same application is now infinitely more valuable.
The same logic applies to the aggregation of intellectual resources. As a network of expertise becomes larger, so too does the overall value of that network grow. It is with this principle in mind that phrint has developed a network of experts in everything from branding strategies, market research, media production, networking technologies and communications. This means that whatever a client's needs are, phrint can bring the best ideas forward.
MANAGEMENT:
...............................................................................................................
Phrint was founded by Michael Tippett. In 1995 he co-founded The Webpool Syndicate, one of Canada's first Internet companies. He has worked internationally, recently returning from four years in New York where he served as General Manager at Register.com. Register.com, a leading provider of global domain name registration and Internet services has over three million domain names under management and was named among Deloitte & Touche's Technology Fast 50 in New York.
Prior to his role as GM, Michael was the Director of Channel Marketing for Register.com and before joining the firm served as the Director of Marketing at Afternic.com. At Afternic, Michael was successful in helping the site win over 250,000 customers which resulted in the company being sold September 2000 for nearly $100 million dollars (CAN).
